Grampian Foal Show - 13th December

Well despite continuous rain since the day before,set off for this show where the weather didn't improve. Goldenwood Showgirl won the small breeds foal class,then won the small breeds championship and finished the day off by winning the overall mountain and moorland championship. She was a total star.

ADWPCEG Trophy Presentation and Quiz.

Went to the above society's presentataion and quiz.
The night started off with a very hard quiz created by Terry Rice.Our team consisted of myself,Roy,Susan and Neil and we named ourselfs Target Zero, well to our astonishment we WON. so we all won £10 voucher for Asda.
Next up was the trophy presentation where i had a fantastic night, Goldenwood Showgirl won the foal points,then was best Section B and Overall Small Breeds.Several of my other ponies were well placed also.So to my amazement came home with 7 trophies.
The night was finished of with a raffle with lots of goodies on offer,well my luck in raffles is usually terrible but the last prize of night was a bottle of champagne Moet & Chandon,well did i not win that too.
Fantastic night by a society that is going from strength to strength.

ADWPCEG Winter Show - 9th November

Had a great day at ADWPCEG show, my foal Goldenwood Showgirl(lara),had a great day winning a strong foal class, champion foal and reserve overall youngstock.
Took my old gal Bureside Saphire as a companion and also showed her in the 4 year old and over In hand and she also won her class.

SNWPCA In Hand Points Competition

The results came out today for SNWPCA In Hand points competition covering Scotland and North England.
Rosedust Little fairygold(Fuzzy) was 1st & Champion Section B and Reserve Overall from all the sections to the section A stallion Fosterhouses Philosopher, only beaten by 2 points.
Rosedust Catalina won the Section B yearling Points.

SWPCA In Hand Points Awards

The SWPCA held an In Hand performance competition this year. My ponies did very well in the welsh section B category.
Rosedust Little Fairygold was 2nd with 980 points,Rosedust Catalina was 3rd with 950,Rosedust Fairytale was 4th with 930 and Goldenwood Madonna was 6th with 330 from her 4 shows.

Fayre Oaks Sale,Builth Wells - 27th/28th September

Well myself,my mother,Brian and Margaret set of for our annual holiday to Fayre Oaks. We left at the crack of dawn on friday morning to catch an early flight from Edinburgh to Cardiff.
The rest of friday was spent doing stud visits,We had a most enjoyable time at Sue Easton's Gigman's Stud,what fabulous ponies she has,we then headed to Fairywood Stud and were well entertained by Debbie Jones and saw the lovely Cadlan Valley Josephine.
We had two exciting days of watching some lovely ponies being sold and my mother bought the most exquisite palomino yearling filly called Hoekhorst Sweet Symphony to add to her Rosedust Stud and will hopefully come to me to be shown in 2009.

North East of Scotland Showing Championships - 20th/21st September

what a great show this was,especially as it is it's first year.Goldenwood stud sponsored the supreme championship of show and what a line up of quality horses/ponies were forward.

Rosedust Little Fairygold(fuzzy) was Champion Small M & M In Hand and wow did she performance in the evening performances with the music and lights.
Goldenwood Madonna(maddy)won her Riding Pony In Hand class but the atmosphere of the evening performance did rather get to her.

A big congratulations to shona MacLennan who won a strong Small Breeds Youngstock class with Goldenwood Celebration,I got such a thrill watching them being pulled forward
as worthy winners.

End Of Season Barbecue - 13th September

We decided to have an end of season barbecue but where not blessed with very good weather but with having the use of a friend's marquee the weather did not spoil everyones fun,with lots of food and drink being consumed.
The evening lasting well into the wee early hours with lots of fun and laughter.

Scottish All Welsh Silver Medal Show - 17th August

Had a sucessful day,Rosedust Little Fairygold (Fuzzy) was 1st and Reserve Champion Adult Section B and also won her Home Produced Class.
Rosedust Catalina(Kitty) was 1st and Reserve Champion youngstock Section B.
A sad day though as it was our last show with my wee horsebox as she is now going away to a lovely new home.

Tarland Agricultural Show - 9th August

The weather was terrible for judging,the heavens opened as judging started and never stopped till it finished.
Tullibardine Sunfloret won her broodmare class then went Champion small M & M and Goldenwood Showgirl continued her unbeaten record by winning the foal class.

Turriff Agricultural Show - 3rd August

Had another good day, Rosedust Fairytale(Tally) was Reserve Champion Riding pony In Hand and also won her M & M class.
Rosedust Little Fairygold(Fuzzy) was 3rd in M & M and got plaited up for the first time since she was a yearling and was 2nd in a very strong Hunter pony class and got her Blair qualifier.

Banchory Agricultural Show - 26th July

We were blessed with fabulous weather today if a little too hot.
Rosedust Fairytale(Tally) was Reserve Champion M & M which was great.
Tullibardine Sunfloret(Flower) was 2nd in broodmare class but Goldenwood Showgirl(Lara) won her foal class then went Supreme foal of show.

Border Union Show - 25th July

Left on Thursday afternoon and made the 3 1/2 drive to kelso,where the ponies were being stabled at the racecourse for the night.

we made the 5 minute drive from the racecourse to the showground,which was so relaxing.
Rosedust Little Fairygold (Fuzzy)was 2nd in a strong class of Welsh Section B mares and Rosedust Catalina (kitty) won her yearling section B class and was 2nd Reserve to 2 english ponies and qualified for the M & M Championships at Blair.
Kitty then had her plaits put in and was 2nd in the hunter Pony yearling class and also got her Blair qualifier.

ILPH Charity Show - 20th July

Once again this was a very well attended show with quality horse/ponies forward.
Took my old girl Bureside Saphire (Sophie) to her first show in over 2 years and she was 3rd in the small breeds 4 year old in over from 9 entries.
Rosedust Fairytale (Tally) was champion Small M & M for the 2nd consecutive year.

Kirriemuir Agricultural Show - 19th July

For the 3rd year in succession Rosedust Little Fairygold(Fuzzy) was Champion Small Breeds In Hand and Overall Supreme M & M and Rosedust Fairytale(Tally) was Reserve Champion small breeds In hand.

Echt Agricultural Show - 12th July

Well today the scottish weather prevailed with high winds and rain.
Goldenwood madonna was champion riding pony In hand over 12.2hh and under 14.2hh then went reserve supreme riding pony in hand.
Rosedust Little Fairygold was 2nd in a very strong mare or gelding 4 year old and over class to supreme champion of show Tulibardine my fare lady.

Great Yorkshire Show - 10th July

Well the only words to describe the 2008 Great Yorkshire show - MUD,MUD AND GLORIOUS MUD.
Both ponies travelled the 7 1/2 hours well and settled into their stables.
Rosedust Catalina was 6th in yearling filly class in very strong company and Rosedust Fairytale was 9th of 16 in the strongest class of the section.

North East RC Summer Show

Took my mare Tullibardine Sunfloret(Flower) and her lovely foal Goldenwood Showgirl(Lara) to her first show.
Flower was 2nd in her class and Lara was so well behaved and won her foal class then went Reserve Champion of the section.

Fettercairn Agricultural Show - 5th July

Had a fun day out at my local Agricultural show,was great only having to travel 2 miles.
Goldenwood Madonna(Maddy) was Champion Riding pony In Hand and Rosedust Catalina(Kitty)was Reserve Champion.
Kitty then had her plaits out and won her M & M yearling class and Rosedust Fairytale(Tally) was 2nd in her class.

Bonnyton Show - 28th June

Had a fabulous day, Rosedust Fairytale(Tally) was Champion M & M and Goldenwood Madonna (Maddy) was reserve Riding pony In Hand.

In supreme of show which consisted of some very nice horses/ponies, Tally was pulled forward as Supreme of show, so was chuffed to bits.

Our new puppy Jaz had her first outing to show and was the most perfect behaved puppy ever.

Another New Addition - Puddledub Rogali

Our most recent purchase is Puddledub Rogali (jaz),a lovely 10 week old black labrador bitch from Fiona Reed of Puddledub Stud.They are renowned for their lovely temprements.She is by Supreme Champion Ramsayville Rogue Trader and from the lovely bitch Puddledub Wallaba who is from a family of FT champions.

SNWPCA Welsh Medal Show

We finished our annual holiday from RHS by doing this show on the way home.
Rosedust little fairygold(fuzzy) was Champion Welsh section B and also Champion Home Produced.
Rosedust catalina (kitty) was 2nd in both her classes.
So another successful day was had by my girls.

Royal Highland Show - 20th June

We set off on thursday for our annual holiday to RHS.
The weather was extremely cold and by saturday it turned very wet.
Friday morning was our day for showing and proved very successful. Rosedust Little Fairygold (fuzzy) won her section B mare or gelding class and Rosedust Catalina was 2nd in the Section B yearlings.
Kitty was then plaited up and won a good hunter pony yearling class,so was over the moon with my girls.
The social life was great,friday night we had th SSF barbeque and spacehopper races,which were a scream.

ADWPCEG Show - 15th June

Well for second day on trot it was a very early start.
Rosedust Fairytale was Champion B youngstock and Reserve Overall Section B.
Rosedust Catalina won her section B yearling class and was 1st and Reserve Champion Riding pony In Hand. Both ponies got their qualifier for NPS championships at Blair Castle.

NPS Scottish Summer Show - 14th June

Had a fantastic day Rosedust Little Fairygold won her class and went Reserve Overall Welsh Section B to Tweetie Nimmo's Duntarvie Anthony.
She won her WPCS Bronze medal and also qualified for the NPS Championships at Blair Castle.
Goldenwood Madonna was 3rd in a good 2/3 year old class.

Angus Agricultural Show - 7th June

Had a hectic day,took 3 ponies for M & M classes.Tally was 1st,Reserve Champion M & M In hand and Reserve Supreme M & M.
Kitty won her yearling class and Fuzzy was 2nd in yeld mare/gelding class.

Maddy had her first outing of 2008,she did the riding pony In hand where she was 1st and Reserve champion.

Brechin Castle Summer Show

Took Rosedust Catalina (Kitty)to her first outdoor show at Brechin.She won her class and went Reserve Champion from 12 Class winners.

Fife Agricultural Show - 17th May

After a 3 year absence of attending fife show,decided to show this year. Took Rosedust Fairytale (Tally) she was 2nd in a good class of M & M youngstock after initially being pulled in 1st.

New Arrival ( Goldenwood Showgirl) - 18th April

My Section A Mare Tullibardine Sunfloret had a lovely palomino filly at 1.00am this morning.She is the first foal from my mother's Welsh Section B stallion Whisperdale Bucks Fizz.
She is called Goldenwood Showgirl and Lara for a stable name.

SWPCA Spring Medal Show - 12th April

Had a good day Rosedust Little Fairy gold (fuzzy) won her Section B class and was adult Section B Champion and also won the members class.
Rosedust Catalina(Kitty) went to her fist ever show and won her Section B class and also the members yearling class.She was a total star and enjoyed her first party.

NPS Scottish Spring Show - 5th April

Took Rosedust Little Fairygold(Fuzzy) and Rosedust Fairytale(Tally) down to SNEC at Oatridge for NPS Spring Show but it felt more like a winter show as it was so cold.
Tally came a very creditable 2nd in a strong 2/3 yr old class and Fuzzy won her first ever class as a yeld mare(really can't believe that's her 4 now)

NERC Woolies Show - 30th March

Took Rosedust Fairytale to the woolies show today. Lovely sunny weather for a change.
Tally won her Youngstock Small M & M class from a good entry and went Reserve Champion of the section.

27th February - Royal Northern Spring Show

Went to my first show of 2008,it was sunny but cold. Took my 3yr old filly Rosedust Fairytale.She was pulled in 1st but dropped to 2nd after trotting unsound on the very stoney surface.Judge said she was a lovely filly.

With points accumulated from only 5 of his offspring Rosedust Little Fairygold,Rosedust Fairyqueen,Goldenwood Madonna,Rosedust Black Lily and Rosedust Grand National.
